Brazil: resumption of promising cooperation
As a result of long-awaited negotiations with one of the key operators of the Brazilian tyre market, agreements were reached on the supply of tyres with a summer tread pattern in the amount of 50 thousand tyres per month.
The history of the partnership between the Ukrainian tyre manufacturer and its Brazilian client could be used as a case for university students.
Back in 2015, the Brazilian government imposed an anti-dumping duty on import of passenger car tyres from Ukraine in the amount of $1.43 per kg, resulting in the cessation of supplies of Ukrainian tyres to this country.
The Federative Republic of Brazil did it to protect local tyre manufacturers.
Last year, the duty was abolished, so we are finally resuming full-fledged cooperation without paying additional duties.
