Quality Policy

Our quality policy covers every moment of production - from raw material control to control of compliance with technological discipline.

Raw materials

The main raw material for the production of tyres is natural rubber, synthetic rubber, carbon black, oil and other chemical ingredients, as well as textile cords, metal cords and wire. The raw material comes to enterprise from different countries of Europe and Asia. Its high quality is regularly confirmed by chemical analysis and laboratory tests that we carry out.

Creating a receipt for compound

Our technologies for creating and improving receipts for rubber compound are based on the many years of experience of domestic and best world-wide tyre manufacturers in exploring the properties of rubber and other ingredients. The rubber compound receipt for each tyre component depends on the designation of a particular semifinished part. This approach also determines the diversity of mixing modes. For example:
  • the tread compound shall provide gripping of the tread part of the tyre with the road
  • the rubber compound for the mini-sidewall performs the function of heat removal in the shoulder zone of the tyre
  • the rubber compound of the under tread layer ensures the reduction of heat generation in the tyre

Manufacturing of components

All parts of the tyre are made on special separate technological lines. An extrusion line for the manufacturing of filler strips and beads, APEX of VIPO company (Slovakia) for tyres with 13-20-inches diameter at rim seat.

Tread aggregate, Berstorff (Germany).

Extrusion line for the production of inner liner, rauss Maffei Berstorff company (Germany).

Cap ply cutting lines, Spoolex S.A.S. (France).

Dimensions of the parts are determined by the size of special devices installed on the main equipment. Control of parts by weight is also carried out. A light warning system checks if the components of the tyre comply with standards. If there is some defect, the component is removed from the line.

The semifinished parts that are considered accepted are marked accordingly, and then assembled at the tyre building shop.

Tyre building process

Layers of steel cord and carcass, extruded parts of the tyre (tread, sidewall, inner liner), bead rubber strip, as well as beads are delivered to tyre assembly equipment. Tyres of 15-20 inches with speed indices H, V, W are built on six up-to-date CNC machines using a flat drum. The main advantage of this equipment is the most accurate positioning of all tyre assembly parts and process control software. This method of tyre assembly improves the output characteristics of tyres: uniformity, radial and lateral runout, static and dynamic imbalance.

Curing

The assembled tyre is placed in the mould of the curing press for curing. Steam or hot water (200 °C) are supplied to the tyre under high pressure. The outer surface of the mould is also heated up. Under pressure, the pattern on sidewalls and tread appears. The chemical reaction (curing) takes place, which provides the rubber with elasticity and durability.

Line of curing presses КНР 46-120, Harburg Freudenberger company (Germany), provides a full cycle of vulcanization of 13-16 inches tyres. And the line of curing presses КНР 52-180 IC, Harburg Freudenberger company (Germany), provides a full cycle of vulcanization of 16-22 inches tyres.

The line of curing presses 400-52 UZYM13, UZER MAKINA company (Turkey), provides manufacturing of competitive tyres from 15 to 18 inches.

Quality control

Each tyre from the conveyor undergoes visual inspection by the attentive inspectors. The tyre has an individual number and production date, and if a defect is found in a tyre produced during the past five years, we can quickly determine when, by whom and on what equipment this tyre was manufactured.

Then the tyre goes to the automatic qualities' inspection lines, where it undergoes one hundred percent control of the output parameters: dynamic and static imbalance, nonuniformity, weight deviation and tyre geometry. Tyres are checked and inspected on seven quality inspection lines from Hofmann (Germany) and on a line from MicroPoice (USA), where the range of indicators is significantly expanded.

The next stage is X-raying on the equipment of Collmann Company. The sequential analysis of X-rays makes it possible to focus on the components of the tyre and measure the parameters of the axial and radial runout of passenger car tyres and light truck tyres.

All new and serial production tyres are tested on special test benches and undergo certification tests regarding safety and quality standards of Ukraine, the European Union, the Customs Union and the countries in which they will be sold.

Recording a detailed technological history of every tyre significantly disciplines the staff and raises production standards. Each employee of the company shares the principles of quality management, clearly understands the purpose of the work, sees the result and can influence it in the workplace, making the own contribution to achieving the company's strategic goals.
