SNOWGARD-VAN – A winter tread tyre, developed specifically for commercial vehicles. The winter tread with a special compound ensures the tyre has great levels of grip on snowy and icy road surfaces, improved durability, greater fuel efficiency, no negative ecological impact and the ability to withstand heavy loads. The usage of phenol-formaldehyde tar (from Poland) in our compounds, allows the tyre greater resistance to lateral withdrawal (glide protection), enabling drift steadiness and grip on icy surfaces. The deployment of special polymers in our compounds has accounted for increased durability, thus prolonging its usage period. The deployment of highly dispersed silica (from France) in our compounds allows for optimal elasticity at low temperatures, thus ensuring maximum contact between the tread and the road (reliable grip). Furthermore, this enables greater fuel efficiency due to reduced rolling resistance. The usage of high quality plasticizers (from Belgium) in our rubber treads ensures the tyre corresponds to European standards concerning ecological safety.

A large quantity of lamellas arranged in a zig-zag pattern at different angles, effectively separates the slush and water flows, thus ensuring better grip on snowy and icy roads.

The side blocks on the tread, which are connected to one another, create a single operating surface, allowing the tyre to withstand greater loads. Meanwhile, the stiffer side blocks reduce the braking distance and improve stability upon cornering.
